Your Cougars moved to 3-3 on the season with a huge team win on Friday night. The Cougars took home an 18-16 victory over Eastern Hills in an exciting game that came down to the last 45 seconds of the game. The team played extremely well and fought to the very last second to secure the win.

The defense stepped up big and contained the Eastern Hills QB who had in previous games ran all over his opponents. D'Shun Hawkins, Rod Gray, and Lester Cole led the defensive line with their presence in their backfield all night long. Linebackers Domo Salazar, Love Willis, Trishtan Willis, and Brycen Foster played a great game and safety Javaris Hamilton led the team in tackles.

Offensively, the Oline of Kevin Cruz, Landon Price, Anthony Rodriguez, Rod Gray, and Jayson Aden led the offense to a 200 yard rushing night. Running backs Jaqualen Daniel, EJ Jones, D'Mareay Hornsby, and Kaream Williams all had numerous carries. Jaqualen had two TD runs and EJ added a third. QB Kyu Wilson managed the game fantastically and kept several drives alive with great runs and throws.

The Cougars will be on the road against the Castleberry Lions this Friday night as they look to continue to push towards a playoff spot. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 pm at Castleberry High School.
